Halloween Haunt- Great America!

The whole park is decked out in Halloween decorations! Like a haunted house, spooky characters will be popping out of nowhere on top of the thrill you get from all the rides! This is an annual event for Interact District 5170, so get to meet some new Interactors from other areas!:)

NEED A SUPER FUN AWAY TO GET SOME SERVICE HOURS DONE?

Come to the MSJE Elementary Halloween Carnival!

YOU can help set up, run booths, run ticket sales, work in/around the haunted house, or be on cleanup duty! AND you get free lunch and drink for volunteers who stay for FOUR or more hours!

WHEN: Satruday 11-3 pm

WHERE: MSJ elementary

SHIFTS: 9-12 pm set up

11-2 pm games/booths

2-5 pm clean up

Interact Drivers Ed Fundraiser

HELLO INTERACTORS!
Have your friends and parents been nagging you about getting your license? Well, here is your chance to get started on your license as well as help out an AMAZING cause.

Area 5 has teamed up with Capitol City Driving School to present a drivers ed fundraiser! Interactors will be getting a $10 discount off what would have been a $30 online course, and Interact District 5170 will be receiving a percentage of the tuition to go towards our international and community service projects this year!

How to participate? Go to capitoldriversed.com, click on “sign up” at the top, and enter in “rotary” for the promo code as well as the high school (THIS IS IMPORTANT).

Discounted drivers ed? Helping out Interact? Getting your license sooner? It’s a win-win situation! This event is YEAR ROUND, so please invite all your friends!

Our next meeting will be on January 13 (Thursday) in the A-wing cafeteria! Come find out more about events coming up in January and pick up your ID cards and lanyard because they have finally arrived!

Interact’s Annual Charity Garage Sale:

All proceeds from our garage sale will be going towards our international project, Shelterbox! Also, any items not sold at the garage sale will be donated to local charities around Fremont.

When? January 15 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

MSJ Campus Beautification

Where? Mission San Jose High School

What? MSJ Interact is teaming up with Leadership 2 to beautify our school campus! We will be helping replant the grass around campus to brighten up the atmosphere and make our school look BOSS!

When? January 16 at 2 PM

Interact Fleece Blankets

You’ll be needing these blankets during finals week! They’re colorful, comfy, and cheap!

Interact is selling FLEECE BLANKETS for $4 in the Bell Tower Quad this week and all of next week. Buy blankets for yourself, for your friends, and for your teachers! You can be one for yourself on the spot, and you can also request that we drop off a blanket for your friends in their third period classrooms!

Perfect 2400 Fundraiser!

Interact has teamed up with Perfect 2400 to provide quality SAT classes as well as an opportunity to benefit the international community! For every student who signs up with Perfect 2400, Interact will receive $50. Last year, we raised over $1,500 this way, so let’s keep up the great work!
