Hey Interactors! My name is Michelle Nguyen and I’m MSJ Interact Club’s President for 2010-2011! Why should you join msj interact this year? Because this year Interact is going to be accomplish a whole lot, and our members are going to be have a larger part in running and choosing our school projects. We are also going to have more quality events! Cool we’re a service club & we do service events! But you’re probably thinking “why interact? There are alot of other service clubs i can join.” Interact is so much more than just a service club. We make a difference in not only the community but the world. We have an international project that we fundraise for and grow passionate about. We get the opportunity during the summer to travel to third world countries to see the money we raise to be put to action, & directly help the people who need it. We inspire others, build good relationships and leave a legacy. We build our leadership skills and our character. We make a difference and create life long friends on the way. We make out interactors proud to say that they helped eradicate polio. Now remember “Opportunities are taken, not given.” & I encourage you to take all opportunities the put forth to you, starting with this one. For if you approach Interact with an open mind and an open heart, it will change your life, just as it did mine. Sounds so cliche! & I’d tell you more, but i dont want to ruin the surprise to your interact experience(; But honestly if you asked any interact alumni, interact shapes your life for the better. And if thats not enough incentive to join interact. We dance on boats, get more fb friends, play paintball, skate together, climb mission peak, go to tailgating, & meet new boyz & gurlz heyyyyy(; I LUHHH YOU ALL!
