Shelterbox is an international disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelter, warmth, and dignity to people affected by natural disasters worldwide. This year, Interact District 5170 has chosen Shelterbox as its international project because our past international projects have been targeted towards eradicating

problems that exist in the world today, but this time, we’ve decided to stop the problems before they even occur. Imagine yourself, losing everything after a massive earthquake. Shelterbox will be there with people around the world to give them a brand new chance at life. Each box can provide shelter for 6-10 people and our District Goal this year is $50,000!
